Make sure your cv gets you noticed (for the right reasons)

The task of sitting down and writing your CV isn’t easy.

In fact it’s one of the trickiest challenges of your entire job search. There are lots of factors to think about.

Don’t ramble

Employers don’t care if you are a sociable person who enjoys knitting in your spare time, so include the hobbies or interest that are relevant to the soft skills of the job you are applying for.

Size isn’t everything

Try to keep your CV to a maximum of two A4 pages.

Wording is ‘key’

Think about keywords if you are uploading your CV online so that recruiters can find you more easily. Use words or phrases that are synonymous with your profession.
