Arden Personnel are looking for a Commercial Assistant to join our client’s growing business based in Alcester. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody with previous experience in a similar position.
Day to Day Duties:
Booking in incoming enquiries onto a spreadsheet.
Assess enquiry/tender packs to ensure it includes all information
Contacting clients accordingly and recording information
Issuing relevant drawings and information to suppliers for quoting and monitor/chase as required
Issuing complete package to the Estimator ready for quoting.
Updating spreadsheet when quotes are issued to the client and monitor progress, report on wins/losses
Chase clients for new and revised orders
Complete and issue bulk orders.
Where quotation revisions are required, ensure relevant information is collated
Updating the ancillary matrix when liaising with the supplier
Key point of contact with liaising with clients, contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders
Providing holiday cover to the Estimators.
Other admin duties as and when required
The Successful Commercial Assistant Applicant will have:
Experience in a previous role
Experience of reading/understanding architectural drawing
IT literate in MS Office
Able to work under own initiative
Pro-active and able to manage own workload
