Our candidate is a Senior Operations & Quality Manager based in Droitwich with over 20 years’ experience in debt enforcement, event technology and logistics. She has operated at Director / Senior Manager level, owning contracts, leading sizeable teams and embedding robust quality and compliance frameworks across fast-paced, customer-facing environments.
In her current role as Operations Manager a Debt Enforcement company, she owns the entire operational client relationship for the Transport for London enforcement contract. She leads a multi-skilled team, manages workflows and manpower, and uses system-driven management information to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement against strict KPIs. A key part of her remit is ensuring full compliance with both internal and external requirements, working closely with peers across the business to maintain operational efficiency and service standards.
Previously, our candidate was Quality & Compliance Director for a £12m-turnover event technology business, where she was responsible for maintaining ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 20121 accreditation. She built and led the quality and compliance strategy, monitored and reported quality performance across all departments, designed and implemented quality processes and SOPs, and acted as Head of site Health & Safety. She also oversaw training needs for 100+ staff, introduced structured appraisal and development plans, and partnered closely with IT to create integrated reporting to support better decision-making.
Before moving into the Quality & Compliance Director position, our candidate spent over 16 years as Commercial Services Director within the same group, leading Warehouse and Administration teams. She was responsible for more than 12,000 AV equipment items, full order processing, and the performance of a 30+ person team. Key achievements include:
- Increasing warehouse productivity by 50% through process redesign and warehouse flow improvements
- Project-managing a full company site move with minimal business disruption and delivering it under budget
- Reducing sub-hire handling costs from £60k to £0 in one year by identifying and implementing new efficiency measures
- Managing an outsourcing budget of up to £1m, ensuring profitability targets were consistently achieved
This candidates’ core strengths include operational leadership, quality & compliance management, ISO accreditation, people management, training and development, Health & Safety, stock and inventory control, and departmental budget management. She is a confident communicator, used to dealing with senior stakeholders, regulators, and demanding clients, and is qualified as a BSI Internal Auditor, with a BTEC Higher National Diploma in Business Studies.
She is now looking for a role where she can take ownership of operations and standards as an Office Manager, Operations Manager or Quality/Compliance Manager, within commutable distance of Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Redditch or Alcester.
